Agnihotra CaseBook

I have had experiences with Agnihotra in places with bad energies. Actually places, where I believe there are spirits hanging around. About a year ago a friend of mine invited me to come and do Agnihotra at her house and she told me that there have been a lot of car accidents right in front of her house. When I got there, it felt like being in a graveyard at midnight. It was a really terrible energy. I could not believe, what bad energy was in this place. When I am talking about “bad energies”, it feels like a thickness, heaviness in the air, I had a headachy feeling and tiredness. I got to her house a little bit earlier and I wanted to do another fire before Agnihotra. While I was preparing the pyramid, it flipped over and some ash actually landed on the floor. That had never happened before. I started to perform the Shree Suktam inside the house. The energy was heavy, like walking through water. By the time I got to the 2nd verse, I started to feel a difference, the heavy energy just receded. A little bit later we did Agnihotra and there was a complete change in the atmosphere, in the energy. This person started doing Agnihotra, but from time to time she still invites me to come and join her for Agnihotra.

Another similar case happened many years ago, when I shared a house with several people and we came to believe that there was an unhappy spirit living there. We heard these noises in the wall, there was nothing that could have made this kind of noise in the wall and there were other things like that. The cat would walk into the middle of the room and the suddenly turn around, just as if a person was standing there. We all had this feeling of a presence. So we did a 24 hour Tryambakam fire and everything was okay after that.
