Tapovan is surrounded by two cities and two towns: Jalgaon (60km east), Dhulia (40km west), Amalner (14 km north) and Parola (6km south)

From the main centres of Bombay, Pune or Aurangabad:

	by train to Jalgaon, then from Jalgaon to Parola - by government bus (Rs30), then
	from Parola to Tapovan - by auto rickshaw (Rs60) OR
	from Jalgaon to Tapovan - by private company luxury bus (Rs30) or by taxi (Rs750)

via Dhulia (pronounced Dooliya):

	by State Transport bus (Rs80) OR private company luxury bus (Rs180) to Dhulia, then
	from Dhulia to Parola - by government bus (Rs20), then
	from Parola to Tapovan - by auto rickshaw (Rs60) OR
	from Dhulia to Tapovan - by taxi (Rs300)

via Amalner:

	by State Transport bus (Rs90) OR private company luxury bus (Rs250) to Amalner, then
	from Amalner to Tapovan - by auto rickshaw (Rs100)

via Parola:

	by State Transport bus (Rs90) OR private company luxury bus (Rs250) to Parola, then
	from Parola to Tapovan - by auto rickshaw (Rs80)

  N.B.

	Tapovan is also known as Parna Kuti and Shivadham Guest House by the local people.
	Luxury buses from Bombay and Pune travel by night only and depart at about 9pm.
